For fish food, you’ll only need to pay 2000 per pack, and they’re quite generous portions. Just a heads up, some of the sellers can be a tad persistent.
Kids will have a blast riding the duck boats, and it only costs 15,000, the fish are incredibly charming.
While it’s a bit of a drive from the city center of Bukit Tinggi, the route to get here is fairly smooth, though there are a few potholes on the country roads.
The atmosphere is relaxed and refreshingly cool. If someone wants to stay overnight, there’s an inn nearby.

4. Wisata Sajuta Janjang

While this tourist attraction isn’t fully completed yet, visitors are already making their way here. Nestled on the slopes of Singgalang, you’ll find two attractions to explore: Sajuta Janjang and Pelataran Pinus.
Sajuta Janjang serves as a path leading to the Pelataran Pinus, perched at Singgalang’s peak. Sajuta Janjang has great potential for becoming a trekking destination for families, while the Pelataran Pinus is envisioned for cultural and religious tourism.
Sajuta Janjang route spans 3.7km, starting from the edge of the Padang Luar Lubuk Basung provincial road and ending at the Pelataran Pinus.
It’s planned to have four plazas (pelataran), but currently, there’s only one. For the best experience, it’s recommended to visit after 12 pm to enjoy the picturesque view of Bukittinggi City, as mornings can be quite foggy. Nevertheless, an early morning visit offers its own charm.

If you’re looking for a shortcut, there’s an alternative route via Jorong Bintuangan Padang Lua, allowing you to use motorcycles for part of the journey. While it’s a village road, it’s suitable for covering half the distance.
This spot offers an ideal vantage point to behold the expansive view of Bukittinggi City from the south.
You’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama stretching from Mount Merapi to the Sianok Gorge. On clear days, the city center of Bukittinggi becomes visible in the distance.

Don’t forget to bring some bottled water to stay hydrated as you might break a sweat during the climb.
5. Linggai Park

Linggai Park stands out as the coziest spot on the Maninjau lakeside. Here, you’ll find a delightful playground for the kids and numerous charming cafes.
The chilly weather adds to the overall tranquility. It’s highly recommended and perfect for watching the sunset or spending quality time with family and friends.
Despite being easy on the pocket, this place is a gem, thanks to its breathtaking views.
The ticket price for a boat ride around the area is a mere IDR 10,000 for adults, making it a budget-friendly choice. I’m particularly fond of the views and the picturesque scenery from this spot.
There’s ample parking available, and although it’s in a residential area, the location is quite spacious, with a view of Pulau Angso (Goose Island).
You’ll find a small food shop, a prayer room, public toilets, and even an open area for children to play. Plus, there are plenty of fantastic photo opportunities here.
If the weather is clear with a beautiful blue sky, this place absolutely deserves to be on your tourist destination list.
Linggai Park is one of the must-visit attractions in the Tanjung Raya District, offering a serene escape with stunning views of Lake Maninjau.
The entrance fee is only IDR 3,000 for adults, and parking for two-wheeled vehicles costs IDR 2,000, while four-wheeled vehicle parking is priced at IDR 5,000.
